Re: E10 petrol.
This copied from .gov website .......CO2 is one of the greenhouse gases that contribute to climate change and the main benefit of E10 petrol is that it reduces overall levels of CO2-based vehicle emissions. By blending petrol with up to 10% renewable ethanol, less fossil fuel is needed, helping us ...

2D837EB4-CB70-48B2-B495-9984A23A6672.jpeg I agree re the aircon recycling, but it will continue to do so until the interior temperature selected is achieved. I too normally run both house and car at 21c, but I question the relevance of the numbers in the car system, my previous c3 Picasso (a vastly...

Re: C5 Aircross Aircondition
I know what you mean, when I lived abroad the steering wheels etc were too hot to touch. RAF used to paint the roofs of the staff cars white, didn’t help much. I still have the reflective screen protector I used in Spain, fitted inside, bit of a faf but helped no end in reducing interior temps. Park...

Re: C5 Aircross Aircondition
Fastest way to cool the interior with any aircon is set it to LO as Beanee advises, but with windows shut and the system set to recirculate.
That’s how we used to test the aircon systems to achieve a set temp reduction within a set period.

Re: start/stop not working
I agree with everything in the article re lubrication, however it doesn’t emphasise all the extra electrical circuitry and sensors/ecu’s required to make it function. Every extra component is an additional level of complexity and another opportunity for failure. A similar “improvement” is Electric p...

Re: start/stop not working
Either way, stop start shags your starter. My chum had the combined starter/alternator on his C4, £900 when it failed!
