Ahhh, the curse of the pound shop cable. Yes, good if you need one quick but not if you want it to last more than a few weeks.

Many of the cables you either buy or are sent with things are 'charging cables' and not 'data cables'. They save money by only having the two wires inside for the power and not the other wires for the data. This is why you can plug stuff in and it charges but doesn't do anything else.

My bars (Aldi special buy) wrap around a tiny bit more than that but not by much. They work fine. If you can't pull them off, they won't jump off by themselves.
After fitting I always put tape along the full length open slot on the bottom of the bars otherwise they whistle.

It's the grip control option. If you don't have a big dial with icons of mud, sand, ice, etc... you don't have it.

It works on the voltage of the battery. If the battery is old or there is too much current drain on the battery, it won't work. For example, if you have the headlights on while you are sitting at the lights, that may bring the voltage down enough that the S&S won't work. More so if you have the ...
