Yes, C3 and C5 do have different update numbers for both screen/firmware and mapping

C5 Aircross - Touch Screen update
Screen software update published
Software of the touch screen (42.03.33.42_NAC-r0).
Everyone is different but the 5.74Gb download took 8 hours. Transfer to the USB took 11 minutes; off to load to car now.
Loading onto car took about 30 minutes.
All ran smoothly

Please do be aware that an update of system must be the only software on the usb stick. After completing that, remove the stick and then separately download the map update. The update softwsre will format the stick before saving the map software. These are 2 separate take. Putting the 2 lots of file...

This comment relates to C5 Aircross. I had mine removed just after purchase because the AA supplied a new key and then reprogrammed the car to reject the then missing key.
