Re: Leak

Right… think I’ve fixed it. Replaced the seal on the sunroof drain off and seems to have stopped dripping…. Touch wood!

Re: Leak

So further investigation after removing most the headliner, it’s coming from the sunroof! You can see the drips coming down from the bolt in the photo I’ve checked the pipe from the drain off, and poured water and it seems to be flowing down. The water does then drip down but not from the pipe but t...

Re: Leak

So I’ve been doing a bit of investigating this morning and have removed most of the left hand trim around the windscreen to the roof liner. I can see that there is a big build up of water (looks like lots of droplets!) all on the upper left side of the roof. I can’t fully tell if it’s coming from th...

Re: Leak

Thanks again.

Say if this issue is the windscreen seal, Would you know how much that fix would cost roughly?

I also wonder, where exactly does the water get in, if it’s due to the windscreen issue?

Re: Sudden Stop

Do you have the active safety braking feature? I’ve had it pop up (but not activate) when the sun was blinding and guess the sensors thought there was something in front of the car

Re: Leak

So an update... I phoned my local Citroen today to let them know that the car was still leaking after the seals being changed in June. The chap did say that it could end up being very expensive if we don't know where the leak is coming from, and by mentioning the Windscreen he did start saying it mi...

Re: Leak

@robkenyon I know this is an old thread but I’ve just discovered this exact issue with my c5 aircross. I’m getting a lot of water in the passenger footwell and have removed the plastics and found the exact same rust as in your pictures. Did you manage to resolve this? TIA Well I thought it had been...

Re: Extended warranty

So a little update on the warranty situation. Following my complaint to the warranty company about the diagnostic charges and their decision not to uphold it I decided to take it to the financial ombudsman. Yesterday I was informed that the FO has decided to uphold my complaint against the warranty ...

Re: Water leak

I’ve also had water leak, passenger side footwell has been like a river somedays. It was being taken in to have a lock replaced on the drivers side and fortunately I noticed the small lake under the rubber car mat so they were able to look at it the same time. They have ordered new door seals as the...
