Re: C5 boot issue - maybe user error?
I had an issue with my C3. You should be able to unlock the car doors by operating the boot button, but mine stopped working. I could use the button to unlock if i moved round the car until the key was near either rear wheel. Took it in and was told that there are 3 aerials which pick up signals fro...

You are correct. I think I mucked up big-time. Shows how much a 50 year old mathe A level is worth.

No problem.Designator wrote: ↑Mon Aug 07, 2023 10:35 am Now THAT makes sense, let's hope the software engineers can read this post in English although you may have to show your working out!
~4.5 L = 1 gallon. 1 km ==5/8 mile.
So 8.8 km/litre = 8.8 x 4.5 = 39.6 km/gallon = 39.6 x 8 / 5 = 63.36 miles/ gallon.

Re: Statistics MPG very low C5 across hybrid
I just completed a 194 mile journey in hybrid mode. The actual fuel consumption (full tank to full tank) was 14.53 litres which comes out as about 60 mpg. The statistics display reads 8.8 mpg! Who knows what that's meant to be!! I have visions of a very harassed software programmer somewhere in an ...

Re: C3 aircross 2020 Flywheel
Had my aircross for 3 weeks now . Just after purchase I noticed rattle from engine that disappeared when clutch is pressed in . I suspected dual mass flywheel or clutch . Took back to dealer who said because it is still within 3 year warranty period it will need to go to Citroen dealer . It is book...

Re: worn out tyres ,too soon
All that will do is just wear the rears (now on the front) just as rapidly - so saves nothing in the long run. I don't rotate mine, I just replace the fronts as needed and leave the backs which often outlast the fronts 2-3 times. I normally wouldn't do that. But I take the other car on a long conti...

Re: worn out tyres ,too soon
When I bought my C3 in 2019 I had a choice of 16" wheels or 17" wheels. On looking at various examples I found that the 17" wheels were fitted with Bridgestone and the 16" with Michelin. On checking the prices for the sizes I found the Michelin to be far cheaper, so I decided to ...

Re: Reset trip meter
Yours might be different to mine if newer, but on my 2019 Flair-Plus, the button on the stalk resets the trip computer only and needs to be pressed for several seconds to work. Short press only changes between Trip 1 and Trip 2. I have a separate physical button on the binnacle, just above the stee...

Re: Are C5 headlights ready for driving in Europe?
You may not need the stickers. Many modern cars with non-LED lights have beam patterns that make benders unnecessary. Our old C4 Picasso and our current C3 do not need them. As your legal requirement is only to not dazzle, as many cars have adjustable lights they can be set at their lowest.
