My dealer offered to set it all up for me when I picked up the car. Didn't take him up on the offer but shows your dealer should be willing.

Though I did manage to reverse into a bush today. Never had reversing sensors before and apparently they don't work so well on bushes. I guess you need a certain density... started beeping when I was already in the bush. No harm done to the car, only my pride.

And if you live near to Bracknell or Windsor, let me know and I'll come see if I can help you out. I'm a bit of a whizz with Android. It may be your screen overlay setting. That keeps it running over the top of other apps. If that's not set properly then other apps could cause it to close.

Do you mean sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't? Or that it starts working then just loses connection while still plugged in. If it suddenly keeps stopping, it sounds like you have a dodgy connection somewhere. If sometimes it works when you plug it in and sometimes it doesn't...hmmm.... per...

Torches. I go on torch doo's with torch friend's and all sorts. Torchlit tours, down caves and mines, Stonehenge at midnight... that sort of thing. Here is a friend lit against the stones.

You know that you have to use a USB lead yes? It can't work Android Auto via Bluetooth as Bluetooth is too slow a connection.

I find mine stiffer than my old car but the old one had done 70,000 miles. I don't have trouble getting it in gear but you certainly feel it 'going in' more. Less, moving it into a position, and more notching it into place. I don't find it's a problem.
