Re: Dashboard Warning - DPF?

Also, be aware that there is no additive either on some of the diesels - my Blue HDi 1.5 only has the diesel particle filter, but no Eolys additive system...

Re: welt timing belt damage.c3 aircross 2019petrol

Actually, there are some engine variations of the EB2 that still have the longer timing belt replacement listed officially on the service - I've checked this recently. So it is important to know which exact engine we are talking about as it can vary. And as for oil grade, that again has been recentl...

Re: Dashboard Warning - DPF?

It depends on your vehicle, for which I'll need your VIN to check, as more later petrol vehicles are also fitted with a particulate filter now.

Re: C5 Aircross 2.0Hdi 180 4 wheel alignment

That depends entirely on the type of equipment we are talking about. For example if you have ARTIV Active Cruise / Distance Maintaining Cruise Control with RADAR in the front then any slight knock to the bumper can require a recalibration of the system as these have to be spot on to work. However if...

Re: 1.5 BlueHDi engine timing chain information.

@Eriksons: See the last paragraph of my post: https://www.aircrossforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?p=8895#p8895 Regarding the timing BELT: These diesel engines do not have a 'belt in oil' or wet belt - only the petrol 1.2 EB2 vehicles. This thread is dealing with the camshaft timing chain, not the timing ...

Re: 2022 c5 Aircross Diesel 1.5 - NO SAT NAV ?

Not the original factory fitted option, without a lot of cost, programming and work. Either buy the vehicle with the correct head unit to start with or or use CarPlay or Android Auto which should be supported on systems without Sat Nav. There are a myriad of choices via various Apps that are in many...

Re: 1.5 BlueHDi engine timing chain information.

You have the 8MM Camshaft Pack, so no worries. But I note you also have an outstanding (Since June 2023) 'After Sales' event concerning 'High Urea Pressure Diagnostic Diesel Engines 6.3' It requires an upload of the modified ECU (Engine Control Unit) calibration. So I'd contact DS Autos, quote the R...

Re: 1.5 BlueHDi engine timing chain information.

@Bkod: Just checked for you and yes, 7MM chain. They are changing the updates all the time, so can change build numbers. There are of course plenty of earlier 1.5 DV vehicles in circulation that would be technically excluded from the particular bulletins, but that doesn't mean to say there won't be ...
