Re: Time to move on

Hi, We had a C4 blue 1.5 diesel for the last 2 years, it turned 3yrs at end of Jan, so I felt it was time to change, and as I am retired, and we don't do the miles we used to. Changing to another new diesel is just ridiculous money now.. so Petrol, first time in about 20 years! Its a lovely car to d...

Re: C5 Key fob fails - Car of Fob issue? - is it due to cold?

Hi, Assuming you have keyless entry ? Even though I have a C4, this is exactly the same issue I experienced in November last year. No warning lights on dash.. no error nothing.. Neither key would work or be recognised.. I did everything the manual said... replaced batteries in fobs, re-initialised b...

Re: Tyre problem

Well, Bridgestone and others aren't telling the dealerships are they ? All the cars I see for sale and the new ones being sold / delivered all have tyre dressing . This regardless of tyre mfr, as they gone through the prep / valeting bays, it's standard dealership practice. Their excuse is utter tos...

Re: Aircross C5 Hybrid Battery

Sadly, the more I hear about Citroen hybrid and eC4 full electric battery range woes, together with their awful My Citroen App, the less inclined I am to pursue either with Citroen.
I just don't think the technology (nor the cost) has reached where it should be for the masses.

Re: New C3 Aircross settings not saving.?

For what it's worth... in our C4 Shine Plus, the temperature controls remain as were before the engine was switched off.
I believe its a NAC system.
The constant re-set to 21 sounds like a fob off to me too.

Re: App woes

I'd say coincidence... LOL Well, I stand by my comments as an app it is pretty useless and unreliable. Only have to look at all the negative reviews on Play store for confirmation. Incidentally, Bluetooth connects the phone and contacts, its just the app that won't . It auto connected for about 5 da...

Re: App woes

It's rubbish ! Mine ( android) updated June 22nd to latest 1.35.1 and it refused to work as your has, for almost three weeks. Phone connects ok.. but no data from the app flows.. just refused to connect. I uninstalled, re-installed and now its just hit and miss... mostly miss.. A total waste of time...

Re: C5 aircross phev

FWIW, On our previous C5 Aircross ( 2020 Feel Plus) there WAS indeed a button on the dash with a x2 icon to open the rear tailgate. ( as well as the fob and hands free functions) As far as I am aware though, this was discontinued in late 2020 and is now as Juan says, fob or tailgate operation only. ...

Re: Rainwater coming in

Same on our previous C5 Aircross and our current C4... The designers have done away with rain gutters on most modern cars these days...to get the smooth lines they want ( looks and aerodynamics) Downside is, rainwater does drip inside onto the door trim and seats when the doors are opened. Beware, i...
