Re: Configurator.

The C5 Aircross was accessible via; https://www.citroen.co.uk/new-cars-and-vans/citroen-range/new-citroen-c5-aircross-suv/configurator/version-and-engine/version when I tried it today. The brochure from 1st Nov does have a limited range of vehicles listed and the usual? changes to minor specs as wel...

Re: C5 eco mode

See page 129 here;

http://service.citroen.com/ACddb/modele ... _en-GB.pdf

i have found you need to press and hold the button before the function is activated.

It appears to limit the rate of acceleration and reduce the speed of the heating/aircon fan.

Re: Driver display brightness

You are quite correct - no reference is made to the brightness adjustment being made with the lights on for C5. For the C4 Cactus the instructions are slightly plainer; Instruments Lighting dimmer Permits manual adjustment of the brightness of the instruments and controls to suit the ambient light l...

Re: C5 Aircross AdBlue Consumption

I replaced 9.4 litres of AdBlue at 4000 miles when the ">1500 miles" warning came up on the display. I will monitor the consumption over the next interval. The cost of the AdBlue works out at approx. 0.25p per mile; not a particularly excessive amount with an average fuel consumption of 54.8 mpg on ...

with the automatic gearbox just activate P and the parking brake and the engine does not start
Or keep your foot on the foot brake or select N and apply the parking brake.

Re: Stop,start does not work

Hi rdeknegt, I had the same thing in 38 degrees. There is so much more power needed from the battery to get the temperature down with the air-con the Stop/Start deactivates to prevent too much drain on the battery. Exactly right - my C4 Picasso (14 plate) operated in exactly the same way. Stop/star...

Re: Tracker / immobiliser

I know this is not as sophisticated as a proper tracker system I find that the "My Citroen" app tracks my journies and shows the vehicles location as well as fuel consumption. The "My Citroen" app can't track a stolen vehicle - I assume this was the point of the original question; the ability to tr...

Re: Tracker / immobiliser

I had a tracker fitted by my dealership. It is a Rewire security DB3 plug-in type ; https://www.rewiresecurity.co.uk/db3-odb-gps-tracking-device-glonass As the OBD port is awkward to access, we used an adaptor which only requires a permanent 12 volt feed (it's shown as optional harness, scroll down ...
