Re: Diesel particulate filter burning?

You can tell if the instantaneous fuel consumption figure has got substantially worse. You are unlikely to be able to smell a regen after the first few regens. There was a post on the C4 site several years ago where they had added a LED telltale near the driver's mirror.

Sorry, no it doesn't. It is like that on our new C3, our old 16 reg C3, but it does not do it on our C4 Grand Picasso 2.0HDi. It may do so on the 1.6 HDi though!

Re: C3 Aircross recall?

They will only show safety critical recalls. The best way to find if you have a recall is to go to an agent.

Re: Stop,start does not work

It shouldn't matter what is on, it is the load on the electrical system and the condition of the battery that determine whether the stop start works. The condition of the battery could be down to alternator issues. Our C4 Picasso, or new C3 and the one which was written off all functioned correctly ...

My guess is poor battery.

EDIT. Apologies, didn't remember my previous post.

Re: C5 Automatic lighting issue.

I did post but it seems to have disappeared. On the C4 Picasso (~2010 on, UK spec) the auto function switches on the headlights, rear lights and DRLs on low intensity. It doesn't switch sidelights. In fact, there are no sidelights at all, the sidelight function is filled by DRLs on low intensity. Da...

My guess s that like on mine, the battery is duff. If they can't find an issue, take it to another dealer.

Re: C5 Aircross tyre pressure question

There are a couple of aspects of this thread that are confusing me. Firstly, what app is this that you are using? There is no need to use an app. All modern cars are required by law to be fitted with tyre pressure monitoring, and the C5 Aircross will have it as standard. Secondly, the OP says that t...

Re: Changing temperature

Has it also changed to kph? The temperature is reset in the settings menu on the screen. It varies with the tye of car, but it should be easy enough to find.

Re: Tyre Pressure Monitor System

C5 Aircross Has anyone removed a tyre to know whether the TPMS is active (as in wheel sensor) or (as C4 Picasso) passive using the ABS measure? I don't yet have the car so cannot check the type of tyre valve on wheels to give me a clue. I also doubt that any dealers will know either Many thanks Joh...
