Re: Extended Warranty and service plan

I would advise anyone who has a car approaching 3 years old to take out the Citroen warranty if available. There are several things that can go wrong and cost over £1000. It is particularly advisable if you have a diesel, as the Adblue problem could be very expensive without a warranty.

Re: Stop & Start

Using the climate control doesn't automatically disable stop/start as the aircon usually only operates intermittently. If the system decides to kick in whilst the engine has stopped it will trigger a restart.

Re: Dash Cams

Just to add my experience. I decided to use a dashcam after someone reversed out of a parking space and hit me. This happened in late 2014. I bought Nextbase, and then had no end of trouble because the memory card would fill and it wouldn't start over-writing the earlier files. This resulted in the ...

Re: Best bits of kit included in your car as bought

The cruise and limiter are different to earlier cars. On earlier cars pressing the clutch does not disengage the limiter, but does disengage cruise. On my 2019 C3 and on C3 Aircrosses I have had as loan cars, pressing the clutch does not disengage either limiter or cruise. It may not be the same for...

Re: Radio

30 minutes is the maximum on a fully charged battery if you are lucky. Unlike older systems, the electrical power management is undertaken by the BCSU (Battery Charge Status Unit), and is not handled directly by the BSI anymore. Once it switches to Economy mode, you will only ever get back double t...

Re: C3 Aircross 1.5 HDi Adblue Issues

A few comments. Have you actually had the warning on screen at start-up that there is 1500 miles before restarting is not possible, or is it just by pressing the spanner button? How much did it take to top up the tank? The tanks hold ~17L and will usually require 15L to fill. When they are topped up...

Air bumps! You sure you are on the correct forum? Don't think either the C3 or C5 Aircross have airbumps. Aren't they what you get on a Renault Cactus ?
They are on C4 Cactus and C3s. Try these forums.

Re: Adding Android Auto to media system

Our 2019 does not have built-in satnav, but had Android Auto function. I suggest you ensure that your phone is paired to the bluetooth in your car, and then download Android Auto to your phone. It inly works through a USB cable (some say that theirs works wirelessly), and use a decent quality lead. ...

Re: Adding Android Auto to media system

Good Evening everybody, I am now the proud owner of the Aircross model (FEEL finish) having bought it second hand. So far so good, confortable drive! Unfortunately, I noticed that the first buyer didn't buy the upgrade to have Android Auto. Does anyone know if there is a way to add the Android Auto...

When I'm sitting in slow traffic on a hot day I'll choose aircon before a small amount of pollution ;)
Aircon (well, climate control) doesn't necessarily prevent stop/start operating.
