The VIN is found from outside the car on the bottom nearside corner of the windscreen - it's als shown in your certificate of registration if you are in the UK.

No you don't. The system on the C5 Aircross is an indirect system - there are no sensors in the rims/tyres.

Yes, it always goes back to the same position, or 180 degrees out - if you are referring to the oil filler cap.

You can check the state of the belt by looking at it in the oil filler cap. Wipe the exposed belt with a rag and then inspect it for signs of breaking. You can inspect the timing belt through the oil filler cap access - you can see it clearly and should be able to see signs of disintegration if the belt is faulty.
