Re: C5 aircross connected cam

I connected my Galaxy S7 to the car and it worked fine - you have to connect via WiFi if I remember correctly. But to be honest I think the Connectam app is a crock, and I just connect my Windows 10 tablet via USB directly and download the files from there.

Re: C5 Clutch overheating

I think this is one of the drawbacks of modern cars, they are so sophisticated these days with warnings they can be a bit over enthusiastic. In days of old none of these warnings existed so an overheating clutch was probably happening all the time, we just didn't know it. I was taught that holding ...

Re: Water out of rear doors

I don't think in 50 years of driving I've ever seen a motor vehicle that has doors that water can't get inside - if the windows open, water will get in. All vehicle doors have drains. Corrosion will only happen if the water cannot escape. By design is not a design flaw. If water alone was the cause ...

Re: False Alarms

I wouldn't let one faulty component spoil my view of the car or its maker.

It's a great car. Enjoy the positives instead of concentrating on the one negative. I'm sure it will be remedied. One of the problems of buying a brand new model of car is that spares will always be initially in short supply.

Re: SatNav in Digital Instrument Panel

Checked it out today - the display that overlays onto the driver display panel, and the one that is presented in the 'navigation' driver display panel option, are both dark displays. I think if they were the same as daytime display on the centre screen they would distract too much from the speed dis...

Re: SatNav in Digital Instrument Panel

Hi Len, Cheers for response. I have used the Nav now and it stayed in night mode in the digi panel. Pretty sure it should switch between day and night as the central screen does. Not a major issue but I'll probably drop Citroen a line. Drummer Sorry, I have now realised that you're talking about th...

Re: SatNav in Digital Instrument Panel

In satnav go to 'menu', 'settings', and on the right of the screen will be a small map with 'map colour' under it. Mine is set to auto and works as expected. If you have a moon next to 'map colour' you have it set to night only. If you have the moon, touch it once to set it to auto. See pic below......
