Re: 1.5 BlueHDi engine timing chain information.

@Bkod: Just checked for you and yes, 7MM chain. They are changing the updates all the time, so can change build numbers. There are of course plenty of earlier 1.5 DV vehicles in circulation that would be technically excluded from the particular bulletins, but that doesn't mean to say there won't be ...

Re: Recall C5 PHEV?

As I mentioned - the recalls are vehicle-specific and because there are different variants of the PHEV, this may not apply to the original Poster. If it does, he will get a recall letter himself as they'll be able to get the registered owner details directly from the DVSA for actual 'Recalls'. I onl...

Re: 1.5 BlueHDi engine timing chain information.

My understanding is that there is some extended warranty to cover this - I can't advise how long though as any intervention and good will gesture will depend on the service history, mileage and age of the vehicle. So again, make sure you have your vehicle serviced annually as a minimum or within the...

Re: Map update C5 aircross

No, it's a 'feature' to warn you that it is a ULEZ zone. You need to check your POI settings and see if there is an option to deselect these zones from the display. It's my understanding that the next update coming out in the next 4 months or so will change the yellow to a sage green colour. Whether...

Re: Aircross C3 touchscreen

You cannot replace the actual screen surface alone. By touchscreen we are talking about the complete screen module. In future I suggest you use a screen protector which are available form some companies that make screen protectors for tablets and mobile phones. This will offer some additional scratc...

Re: Park assist update for C5 aircross 2021

No it cannot be installed without the correct equipment on your vehicle. You don't have the required hardware installed. Semi Automatic Parking requires additional 4 sensors used for Blind Spot Monitoring contained on the 4 wheel arches. Yes I know that it is not the official dealer doing it as they...

Re: Newbie - 2024 mdl C5 Aircross 1.2 Hybrid 136 E-Series

Just make sure you have it dealer-service every year if you are not doing the miles as this is a requirement of warranty, and more importantly for them to keep a check on the timing belt as these are 'belt in oil' systems, so oil must be changed regularly and be to the exact specifications to reduce...
